MTB Racing Pics

Hi everybody! Sorry it’s been so long since I updated. I haven’t forgotten that I promised to post more MTB racing pics…I am still going to be posting them, it’s just taking a bit longer than expected. I recently had a major drive failure (luckily all my race photos were taken with a film camera) but sorting everything out and working off backups has proven to be a challenge. Nevertheless I’m back in business and will hopefully get back to updating the blog with more pics soon. I have pics of both the Downhill races and the Super D’s and I will be posting them ASAP. Better late than never I guess.

So, who’s going to be racing at Firestone? Are you in? We’re going to be there! Can’t wait…

Mountain Biking Downhill Race Pictures From Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City Nevada, February 2008

Here are some more photos from the February ’08 downhill mountain bike races in Boulder City, NV. These pictures show rider #69, Randy Barr who raced in the men’s sport class. I snapped these pictures as he was approaching the finish line at the end of the race. A few of the riders I watched caught a little air at that part, and he was one of them. Go Randy! Hope you had fun racing! I sure enjoyed myself watching you all compete.

I’ve still got a couple hundred more pictures to post from the Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike races. I haven’t even started posting pictures of the Super D’s race yet, but I have photos from the Super D’s too. So if you have been checking this site looking for photos and you haven’t seen the ones you’re looking for yet, please keep checking back! Also feel free to leave comments if you have any requests (feel free to post your # if you raced and I will see if I have any pics of you.) AND please comment if you have corrections or additions to any of these posts. I want to make sure to properly credit the riders, so if I goof somewhere, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it.
